Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Hi Lo Operator to join our team at Midway Products Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating powered material handling equipment to move materials efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Material Handling: Operate Hi Lo equipment to move materials to designated areas, unload and stack material, and supply workers with material as required.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure the Hi Lo is in proper working condition and report any safety or mechanical problems to a supervisor.
  • Quality Control: Interpret labels to ensure proper disposition of materials and weigh material or products to record on tags or labels.
  • Training and Development: Train new or less experienced employees on the job and maintain proper records of work performed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the shipping and receiving area as well as material processes.

Requirements:

  • Ability to perform all essential job functions as described for a Production Associate.
  • Validated ability to operate powered industrial lift truck in a safe manner at all times.
  • Ability to move materials in amounts to avoid personal injury, or damage to equipment, material product, or the facility.
