Key Responsibilities

As the Program and Portfolio Manager for Business Insights and Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating a data-driven culture and ensuring seamless coordination across TOEFL Marketing. Your expertise will focus on medium- and long-term analytics innovation, providing a comprehensive perspective across TOEFL Marketing initiatives. You will oversee the marketing business insights and analytics project portfolio, managing resources effectively.

  • Establish success metrics for evaluating marketing effectiveness.
  • Prioritize innovation efforts and the necessary training to foster an analytics-driven organization.
  • Leverage key data and analytics capabilities to facilitate informed business decisions.
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership and align priorities across various functional areas.
  • Articulate a long-term vision for analytics within TOEFL Marketing.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of data management, statistical analysis, modeling, reporting, and visualization tools.
  • Envision emerging analytics capabilities, including AI modeling.
  • Collaborate with leadership to outline a roadmap for integrating analytical competencies throughout TOEFL Marketing.
  • Drive standardization of analytics processes and promote the adoption of tools and methodologies.
  • Uphold ethical standards and comply with relevant laws and regulations in your role.
Qualifications
  • Proven thought leader with a successful track record in analytics and cross-functional data transformation.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with statistical and analytics software (e.g., Alteryx, AWS analytics services).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, and/or R for data processing.
  • Familiarity with data acquisition and cleansing techniques.
  • Ability to derive business insights through reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
  • Understanding of data warehousing and data lake concepts.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering business value through technical projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a quantitative or STEM field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • 8+ years of extensive experience in data analysis, with a focus on increasingly complex data challenges. A strong programming background and coursework in statistics are essential.
