About the Role

BURNCO LLC is seeking a skilled Mixer Driver to join our Ready Mix Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating a ready-mix truck in urban areas and tight construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a ready-mix truck safely and efficiently in various environments
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Understand and promote a strong safety culture
  • Drive and obey all traffic laws and regulations
  • Perform truck maintenance and housekeeping tasks
  • Learn and adhere to company safety protocols
Requirements
  • Class B CDL with air brake endorsement
  • Clean driving record
  • Experience with concrete mixer trucks (an asset)
  • Understanding of concrete products
  • Standard or manual transmission experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and be available on short notice
  • Pass pre-employment testing
Physical Demands
  • Regularly work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Constantly use eye-hand coordination and near/far vision
  • Frequently stand, walk, sit, climb, bend, reach, lift up to 50 lbs, carry up to 50 lbs, and utilize manual dexterity, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, color discernment, and active hearing/listening
  • Exposed to loud noises, heavy machinery, moving equipment, oil, debris, solvents, smokes, gasses, fumes, and aggregate materials
  • Required PPE includes safety shoes, safety vests, safety glasses, ear plugs, and hard hats
