Job Summary:

Catholic Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Anesthesiology Technician to join our team. As an Anesthesiology Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for anesthesia administration and intravenous line placement.
• Assist with patient preparation and ensure a safe and clean environment.
• Order and manage supplies, and perform other non-nursing duties related to patient care.
• Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail to ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in working order.

Work Environment:

Catholic Medical Center is a Level III Trauma center with 10 operating rooms, including 2 dedicated to cardiovascular surgery. Our operating rooms are open 24/7, 365 days a year, and we perform approximately 6,500 surgical cases annually.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years' experience in a related healthcare field, preferably in an operating room or equivalent education and experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• After two years of employment, the employee must pass the Technician certification exam through the ASATT.
