Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Health Advocates Network. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to nuclear medicine, including imaging procedures, patient care, and equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including positron emission tomography (PET) and single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) scans.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications as required.
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, including cameras and computers.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT.
  • Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B.
  • Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
  • At least one (1) year of acute, clinical radiology experience.
  • Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment.
  • American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers.
