Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dining Services Supervisor to join our team at The Forest at Duke. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for supervising the dining staff and ensuring the provision, preparation, and quality of our dining services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the dining staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve dining services, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu ideas and specials.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role in a full-service restaurant or dining services environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, guests, and staff.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills, with experience in inventory management and point-of-sale systems.
