Position Overview:
The individual in this role is tasked with cleaning and stewarding operations, ensuring that dining establishments are equipped with sanitized dishes and utensils in accordance with operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster an environment that encourages patrons to choose Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati for their entertainment; actively engage in building and maintaining guest relationships while mentoring team members to deliver exceptional service.
- Adhere to and uphold departmental goals, standards, and protocols to guarantee the effective functioning of the department.
- Assist in the procurement and receipt of all non-food supplies within the Food & Beverage sector, ensuring sufficient inventory levels.
- Conduct equipment inspections to confirm all machinery is operational and meets Hard Rock's safety and cleanliness criteria; authorize necessary replacement parts for food service equipment.
- Maintain effective communication with the Executive Chef and Director of Food & Beverage.
- Participate in meetings and complete assigned follow-up tasks.
- Consistently perform duties with reliability and predictability.
- Execute additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
This expertise and these skills are generally obtained through at least one year of progressive experience in the Stewards Department.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and all required certifications as per Federal, State, and Gaming/Lottery regulations.
- Must successfully complete a background investigation.
- Must pass a drug screening.
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years old.
Knowledge Requirements:
- Familiarity with relevant federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
- Comprehensive understanding of all operations within the Stewards Department.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and schedules as required.
- Capability to deliver programs that achieve a high level of service excellence for both internal and external guests.
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff and external contacts.
- Competence in reviewing and understanding all necessary documentation.
- Ability to inspect and maintain all assigned areas.
- Skill in stocking and retrieving supplies as necessary.
