Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Detention Equipment Coordinator to join our team at CML Security. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of complete detention equipment systems, including glazing, doors, frames, hardware, and detention furnishings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project management teams and vendors to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
  • Anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner to maintain project momentum.
  • Accurately interpret architectural and engineering drawings and translate design information into effective field methods and materials.
  • Compile and submit required submittal documentation to project architects, consultants, or owners.
  • Create detailed design drawings to effectively communicate design intent to internal and external project team members.
  • Submit RFIs through the project management team to resolve contract document inconsistencies or design intent discrepancies.
  • Design cost-effective, efficient, and reliable systems for both the company and customers.
  • Support project teams in procuring detention equipment for field activities.
  • Schedule and conduct project reviews with project management teams and vendors to ensure compliance with design intent and schedules.
  • Lift up to 20lbs.
  • Travel to various projects as assigned and reasonable.
  • Perform basic office duties, including typing, copying, emailing, etc.
  • May work outside normal business hours based on project needs.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively as appropriate.
  • Maintain CML Security standards, culture, and values.
  • Other duties as assigned.
