Snowmaker Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Snowmaker to join our team at Vail Resorts. As a Snowmaker, you will play a critical role in creating an unforgettable experience for our guests by producing high-quality snow on our mountain.

• Operate snowmaking equipment, including pumps, compressors, and snowmaking guns, to ensure optimal snow production.
• Assist the snowmaking lead with day-to-day operations, including maintenance and repairs of equipment and buildings.
• Understand and teach proper snowmaking quality checks to ensure consistency and quality of snow.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve snowmaking goals.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license.
• Previous experience operating/maintaining heavy machinery; snowmaking experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English.
• Ability to work outdoors in alpine environments.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
