Sysco is a leading food distribution company that is now hiring CDL-A drivers in Lincoln, NE. As a CDL-A driver, you will play a critical role in delivering products to our customers while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a tractor-trailer and manually unload/deliver various products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule.
  • Build relationships with each customer using a positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including hours of service, weight limits, and safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • 6 months of CDL-A commercial driving experience required.
  • 6 months of experience with customer delivery preferred with 1 year strongly preferred.
  • 21+ years of age.
  • Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen.
  • License to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Touch freight – may need to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds.
  • Flexibility – overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays.
