Job Description:

  • Deliver holistic care to pediatric patients ranging from newborns to young adults in a specialized Pediatric Float unit, adapting to various departments as required.
  • Manage a diverse array of medical and surgical conditions, including severe neurological issues, respiratory disorders, cardiac defects, organ transplants, and more.
  • Capable of functioning in ICU, IMC, and GC units, with a willingness to transition to units catering to infants up to 1 year of age.
  • Ensure meticulous completion of all responsibilities and documentation for each patient.
  • Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
  • Successfully complete the UW Health Telemetry assessment prior to commencing the assignment.
  • Adhere to hospital protocols and guidelines to maintain patient care and safety.
