Role Summary:

The Clinical Assistant is a versatile professional who undertakes a variety of clinical and administrative responsibilities within the healthcare office environment.

Under the guidance of a Physician or a licensed nurse, the Clinical Assistant delivers both direct and indirect patient care, conducts laboratory tests, and may assist with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with patient treatments under the supervision of healthcare providers.
2. Perform basic diagnostic procedures and collect specimens.
3. Monitor and report changes in patient conditions.
4. Document all patient care activities.
5. Manage medical equipment and supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
6. Maintain the examination area.
7. Execute administrative or clerical tasks as assigned, such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, billing, and patient registration.
