Phlebotomy Specialist

Job Summary:

Hutchinson Clinic P.A is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood and other patient specimens, scheduling and advising patients for special laboratory tests and procedures, and distributing laboratory reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a professional and friendly atmosphere for patients and staff
• Collect blood and other patient specimens in a safe and efficient manner
• Schedule and advise patients for special laboratory tests and procedures
• Distribute laboratory reports to patients and healthcare providers
• Monitor department inventory and supplies
• Perform venipuncture procedures for pediatric and adult patients
• Abide by HIPAA and maintain patient confidentiality
• Work independently and as part of a team to achieve department goals

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• Good communication skills, courtesy, tact, and diplomacy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 lbs
