Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Monument Chemical in Brandenburg, KY is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join their team.

Job Summary:

The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of duties essential to the manufacture of chemical products while consistently adhering to all established safety and operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate lab equipment, including GC, HPLC, pH meters, and autotitrators, and coordinate activities with other lab techs and production.
  • Observe and record all data, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Support and encourage a team environment, promoting a culture of collaboration and open communication.
  • Perform assigned duties per job qualifications, following all safety and operating procedures.
Requirements:
  • High School education, with two years of Laboratory Technician experience in a manufacturing environment; chemical manufacturing highly preferred.
  • Four-year Chemistry or Science degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting lab equipment preferred.
  • Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including weekends and holidays, on a routine basis.
  • Willingness to work overtime and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Good attention to detail, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Good reading, math, and computer skills, with SAP knowledge a plus.
