Job Title: Material Handler, EPJ

Join DSV Air & Sea, a leading global transport and logistics company, as a Material Handler in our Lancaster location.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. You will also be responsible for counting and inspecting product and notifying leadership when there are damages or discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Picking Responsibilities:
    • Using a pallet jack to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands
    • Efficiently and accurately picking products and staging in the appropriate areas
    • Stacking, packaging, banding, shrink wrapping, and labeling products as determined by client requirements
  • Quality Control Responsibilities:
    • Verifying that products and/or orders meet quality standards
    • Reporting any damages or discrepancies
    • Stacking, packaging, shrink wrapping, and labeling products
  • Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance:
    • Executing all safety protocols
    • Maintaining a clean, neat, orderly work area and assisting in security of the warehouse
    • Complying with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site-specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Ability to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to accomplish job tasks in a timely manner
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance
  • Ability to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-paced work environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6 months experience working in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment
  • Current or prior MHE certification
Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will rarely be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment will usually be low to moderate.
