Role Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and analyze system blueprints, specifications, and performance data to determine the configuration of system components including compressors, motors, pumps, fans, switches, controls, ducts, and pipes.
  • Perform maintenance and repair on assigned projects, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize various hand tools to execute repairs effectively.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems and products at customer locations.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as required by clients.
  • Prepare for on-site installations and repairs by reviewing building layouts, anticipating challenges, gathering necessary materials, and coordinating work as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred completion of a certified technical program with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Possession of applicable certifications, licenses, and a valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals. Capable of writing routine reports and communicating effectively with customers.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary with sign-on bonuses available based on experience (ranging from $1,000 to $4,000).
  • Starting pay for journeyman level positions at $42.33/hr, with potential for higher wages based on experience.
  • All necessary tools provided for job performance.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and retirement plans.
  • Paid holidays and vacation time up to 3 weeks.
