Your support in the customer demonstration and laboratory environment will be invaluable, serving as a key asset for both you and the organization.

As a key contributor, you will provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to fellow team members, facilitating skill development over time.

The successful candidate will join the Classified IT Transformation team, engaging in IT System Engineering, Installation, Administration, and Security across various platforms, including both Classified and Unclassified networks, AWS/Azure cloud environments, Red Hat Linux, eSXi, VMware Horizon, Windows Server, and Windows/Linux desktops.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, control, and update all IT systems in alignment with Lockheed Martin and Department of Defense policies and requirements.
  • Conduct systems engineering and implementation, routine updates, major upgrades, and ongoing maintenance of hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI), virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), Storage Area Networks (SAN), data protection appliances, and related peripherals, ensuring compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and the Risk Management Framework.
  • Oversee server initiatives, including asset inventory management, support, and troubleshooting of all server-related hardware and software.

This position requires strong troubleshooting skills to deliver timely and effective solutions to complex technical challenges, leveraging creativity and ingenuity.


All tasks must be performed on-site, with some flexibility for off-shift hours, weekends, and occasional travel. The role operates on a 4x10 schedule (Monday to Thursday) and supports a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with Information Assurance (IA) hardening and compliance, including STIG and DSS compliance.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMWare, KVM, and Hyper-V.
  • Knowledge of NAS/SAN/PFS storage systems and associated networking.
  • Proficiency in scripting for system administration (Ansible, Python, BASH, Perl, Batch, VBScript, PowerShell, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud environments, specifically Azure and AWS.
  • Familiarity with Linux Operating Systems, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux and IBM/AIX.
