Job Overview

This position is for part-time general production associates at PRINT NW. The role offers a flexible schedule with compensation starting at $17.00 per hour. Part-time employees are entitled to 4 hours of Paid Holiday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the production of quality items according to specifications and quality benchmarks.
  • Engage in hands-on assembly and production tasks.
  • Specific duties may vary by Work Order and can include:
    • Hand folding printed materials
    • Counting and bundling printed items
    • Applying Velcro strips to printed materials
    • Hand inserting or collating printed materials
    • Occasionally operating various production machinery such as shrink wrappers, L-Bars, and Collators.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
  • Consistent punctuality is expected.
  • Strong verbal, written, and listening abilities; must be able to adhere to safety, security, and quality protocols and comprehend SOPs and supervisor directives.
  • Ability to identify issues and promptly inform management regarding production, safety, or injury matters.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to fulfill departmental objectives.
  • Utilize self-management skills to organize, plan, and prioritize work tasks efficiently.
  • Possess interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with coworkers and respond constructively to instructions and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

The employee must regularly lift up to 10 pounds, frequently lift up to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds. Duties may require standing or sitting for extended periods, walking, reaching with hands and arms, lifting, twisting, and crouching. Frequent communication is necessary, and the employee must regularly use hands and fingers to handle printed materials, assemble, collate, count, or bundle items, and lift, carry, push, and pull boxes of printed materials.

The work environment is an industrial manufacturing setting with noise levels ranging from 55-75 dB. Hearing protection is provided.
