Refrigeration Service Technician

CoolSys is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, ensuring their equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Repair and overhaul equipment, including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, electrical and mechanical control devices
- Provide general repair work on refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment, including air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machine equipment, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors and electric motors
- Perform preventative maintenance activities, diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies to ensure quality work performance
- Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and/or mechanical skills
- Maintain accurate records of work history and process job tickets and work orders in a timely manner
- 3+ years of experience with commercial HVAC and Refrigeration installation
- Ability to work on equipment, troubleshoot, test, and balance systems
- Valid driver's license and active EPA certification
- Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills, mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., safely climb and balance on a ladder, and work in elevated/high locations
