About the Role

Talascend is seeking a highly skilled E-Commerce Business Analyst to join our team in a long-term contract role. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for monitoring and supporting the execution of fulfillment orders across the e-commerce/omni channel network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Monitoring and Support: Monitor and support the execution of fulfillment orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Develop and create data tables to support day-to-day store fulfillment operations, and create forecasting for fulfillment based on current plans and metrics in conjunction with Finance.
  • Process Improvement: Identify, recommend, and implement improvement opportunities in work methods, procedures, or equipment to increase throughput and/or quality.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Engage and collaborate with IT/Data Engineering Team to align programs/projects in support of supply chain business objectives and strategies, and lead or participate on process improvement teams.
  • Reporting and Dashboards: Leverage reporting and dashboards to drive process improvements resulting in reduced costs and improved service.
Requirements
  • Business Intelligence/Analytics Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence/Analytics.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail and technical acumen.
  • Technical Skills: Experienced in SQL, Tableau experience is a strong plus.
  • Decision Making: Works independently to support time-critical fulfillment operations, holds decision-making for monitoring and triaging any major system issues including escalation, resolution, and communication to maintain/restore fulfillment operation.
  • Business Analysis and Process Management: Business analysis and business process management skills, project management and team management skills.
  • Supply Chain Knowledge: Understanding of order management, distribution, and transportation processes, experience with fulfillment/eCom domains, and experience with supply chain metrics and their use to drive process improvements.
  • Communication and Influence: Effective communicator and ability to influence others to accomplish team objectives.
Technical Expertise
  • Business Intelligence/Analytics Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence/Analytics.
  • BI Reporting Tools: Experience with BI reporting tools (Tableau).
  • Elastic Search/Kibana: Experience in Elastic Search/Kibana preferred.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Advanced Excel skills.
  • MPP/Distributed Database Systems: Good understanding of MPP/Distributed Database systems.
  • Advanced SQL Skills: Advanced SQL skills - at least 2 years of experience in developing advanced SQL.
