Job Summary

As a Home Care Assistant with BrightStar Care, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to provide personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide medication reminders and assistance with medication management
  • Prepare meals and snacks according to client's dietary needs
  • Assist with mobility and exercise, including range of motion exercises and walking assistance
  • Document observations and report any changes or concerns to the Director of Nursing or relevant supervisor

Requirements
  • One year of professional caregiving experience in a facility or home care setting
  • Current CNA license or PCA certification in state of Virginia
  • Active TB test, active CPR, and active driver's license
  • Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug screen and background check
