We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our team as a RN Charge-CCU, Nights at Raleigh General Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide critical intensive care to Medical, Surgical, and Cardiac patient population.
- Administer vasoactive drugs, respiratory/ventilator support, and manage cardiac status with continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Provide parenteral and enteral nutritional support, temporary transvenous pacing, Intra Aortic Balloon Pump Therapy, thrombolytic therapy, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), peritoneal dialysis, and acute hemodialysis.
- Assess unit, patient, and staff needs, and plan for meeting those needs.
- Perform management duties for units under their supervision.
- Evaluate the assessment, planning, and intervention process.
- Demonstrate professional and personal development.
- Deliver direct patient care appropriate to the age of patients served.
- Graduate of a Program in Discipline Required.
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months.
- Moderate Sedation certification required within 6 months.
- One (1) year nursing experience.
- Current registered nurse licensure.
