- Conduct home assessments to identify potential hazards and barriers to independent living, and provide recommendations for equipment and adaptive devices.
- Develop and implement treatment programs to improve patients' functional abilities, including muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, and self-care skills.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants and participate in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for patients.
- Graduate of an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- Licensed to practice as an OT in the State of Florida.
- Two years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organization skills.
