Gameplay Engineer

Nexon America's Western Dev team is seeking a skilled Gameplay Engineer to join our team for a new exciting project. As a key member of the Global MapleStory Development Team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing game features that enhance the MapleStory experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain core game features for Global MapleStory, including character abilities, quest systems, contents localization, and user interface enhancements.
- Collaborate with designers and artists to bring creative visions to life within the game's engine.
- Respond to technical issues in live service situations.
- Optimize game performance and resolve bugs to ensure a seamless player experience.
Requirements:
- 2-15+ years of experience in software online game development or related field.
- Experience as a software engineer in the game industry, online game development, or a related field.
- Shipped new game title(s) or experienced live game service in many years.
- Management experience is required for 'Lead' and 'Director' levels.
