We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our team at Sheldon Meadows Assisted Living Centers. As a Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in welcoming visitors, answering calls, and providing assistance to residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome visitors and residents in a warm and welcoming manner
  • Answer and route calls in a timely and efficient manner
  • Distribute mail and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with event notices and employee orientation
  • Monitor the lobby area to ensure a safe and secure environment

Requirements:

  • High level of interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with residents, staff, and visitors
  • Strong initiative and judgment to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Word processing and clerical skills to maintain accurate records and perform administrative tasks
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Minimum age 18 years
  • Pass state mandated screening and drug testing

Additional Duties:

  • Respond to inquiries and conduct tours of the facility
  • Manage inventory and sales of meal tickets
  • Assist with special events and activities
  • Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
  • Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in email and telephone communication
