Job Title: Patent Engineer

Stratasys is seeking a highly skilled Patent Engineer to join our team. As a Patent Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of our intellectual property protection strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the patent portfolio, including patent searching, drafting, and prosecution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D, Product Development, and Business Development, to identify and protect intellectual property.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of patent law and its application to our business.
  • Provide expert advice on intellectual property matters, including patent infringement and validity.
  • Manage the patent annuity review process and ensure timely payments.
  • Administrate patent award and compensation program.
  • Update and maintain key company trade secrets and ensure awareness among leadership and experts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of technical work-related experience.
  • 5+ years patent practice and IP management approaches, including understanding of patent law.
  • 5 years experience in using patent search software.
  • Proficient in use of Anaqua software or other patent maintenance databases.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Patent agent registration.
  • Experience in Project Management.
