About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CDL Driver to join our team at Beacon Building Products. As a CDL Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of our products to customers across the United States and Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Touch freight and load/unload materials, adhering to safety protocols and wearing appropriate PPE
  • Pre-inspect trucks, verify load accuracy, and set up job parameters to ensure a safe environment
  • Maintain regular communication with dispatchers to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Identify and report potential hazards on site to branch management
Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL license in good standing with 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
  • Ability to repeatedly lift 75+ pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Experience driving a manual transmission truck and operating heavy equipment for unloading
  • Ability to effectively work both independently and in a team environment
