As a Registered Nurse Intern, you will provide direct and indirect patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting under the supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with their physical and emotional needs, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their stay.
You will work closely with the healthcare team to communicate patient information, including changes in their clinical condition, and participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient care. Your role will also involve providing support to patients across various age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse
- Communicate patient information to the healthcare team
- Participate in performance improvement activities
- Support patients across various age groups
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited School of Nursing
- Certifications as indicated by the Steward Certification document
Please note that all activities requiring a license to perform must be done under the direct supervision of an RN. Documentation of these activities must be cosigned by the supervising RN/Preceptor. Activities that may be performed by unlicensed personnel may be done and documented independently.
