- Position Parts: Use templates or read measurements to accurately position parts and subassemblies.
- Assemble Components: Examine connections for correct fit and fasten parts and subassemblies to meet product specifications.
- Resolve Assembly Issues: Alter dimensions to meet specifications and notify supervisor to obtain additional resources as needed.
- Maintain Equipment: Complete preventive maintenance requirements, troubleshoot malfunctions, and call for repairs to ensure equipment is operational.
- Ensure a Safe Working Environment: Comply with procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Manage Supplies: Check stock levels, anticipate needed supplies, and place orders to maintain an adequate inventory.
- Document Actions: Complete production and quality forms to document actions and ensure quality control.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- High school diploma or equivalent in a related field
- Knowledge of controls and instrumentation, equipment maintenance, and manufacturing experience
- Ability to use mechanical inspection tools and power tools
- Good judgment and decision-making skills
