Job Title: Service Security Specialist

Securitas Technology, a leading provider of integrated security solutions, is seeking a skilled Service Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by installing, maintaining, and repairing security systems and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control security systems.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on security equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and reduce emergency calls.
  • Assist with the start-up of new equipment or system installations and adjust as needed to ensure system operability.
  • Plan and execute maintenance schedules, lay out electrical equipment installations, and assist with system start-ups and check-outs.
  • Promote and maintain good customer relations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and contract retention.
  • Maintain company proprietary information and documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes and new developments in security products and technology.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience installing and/or servicing security systems and equipment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of intrusion detection systems, electronic access control, CCTV, IP video, surveillance systems, fire alarm, and life safety systems.
  • NICET Certification preferred.
  • Lenel, Pro-Watch, Software House, Picture Perfect certifications preferred.
  • Bosch, Honeywell, Radionics, or DMP system knowledge preferred.
  • Edwards/EST, Simplex, or GE/Mirtone system knowledge a plus.
  • IP Video and IT experience preferred.
  • Ability to work on-call on a rotational basis covering after-hours and weekend emergency calls.
  • A valid state driver's license, without restrictions, is required.
