Service Security Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by installing, maintaining, and repairing security systems and equipment.
Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, and repair intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control security systems.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on security equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and reduce emergency calls.
- Assist with the start-up of new equipment or system installations and adjust as needed to ensure system operability.
- Plan and execute maintenance schedules, lay out electrical equipment installations, and assist with system start-ups and check-outs.
- Promote and maintain good customer relations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and contract retention.
- Maintain company proprietary information and documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with changes and new developments in security products and technology.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience installing and/or servicing security systems and equipment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferred.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of intrusion detection systems, electronic access control, CCTV, IP video, surveillance systems, fire alarm, and life safety systems.
- NICET Certification preferred.
- Lenel, Pro-Watch, Software House, Picture Perfect certifications preferred.
- Bosch, Honeywell, Radionics, or DMP system knowledge preferred.
- Edwards/EST, Simplex, or GE/Mirtone system knowledge a plus.
- IP Video and IT experience preferred.
- Ability to work on-call on a rotational basis covering after-hours and weekend emergency calls.
- A valid state driver's license, without restrictions, is required.
