Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Done Right Diesel LLC. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine and scheduled maintenance services, as well as diagnosing and repairing complex issues with diesel and gas vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tune engines to ensure proper functioning and efficiency.
  • Repair and service air conditioning, heating, engine cooling, and electrical systems.
  • Inspect and repair or replace parts such as pistons, rods, gears, valves, and bearings.
  • Electrical trouble shooting and repair.
  • Plan work procedures using technical manuals and experience.
  • Follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined.
  • Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes and lubrications.
  • Troubleshoot fuel, ignition, and emissions control systems.
  • Review work orders and discuss work with supervisors.
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications.
  • Inspect vehicles for damage and record findings.
  • Test drive vehicles and test components and systems.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
  • Experience with light duty diesel.
  • Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Basic Tools.
  • Strong Mechanical Aptitude and trouble shooting skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical tasks required to perform this job include lifting 60+ lbs., standing, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling etc.
  • Exposure to dust, gas fumes, and extreme temperature changes.
