Job Summary:

As a Radiology Technologist at Adventist Health, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Your expertise will be essential in operating x-ray equipment, positioning patients, and ensuring the safety of patients during exams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body parts
  • Position and instruct patients prior to examination
  • Adjust x-ray equipment and determine proper voltage, current, and exposure time for each radiograph
  • Verify exams on PACS and report important information to physicians

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in radiological technology (preferred)
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R) certification (required)
  • Radiologic Tech (RT) certification in the state of practice (required in CA and HI)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
  • Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment (preferred)
