Job Overview

Adventure Tours is seeking a qualified and dedicated Government Shuttle Operator to join our team for operations in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have experience operating minibuses and hold a minimum CDL B license with passenger endorsement.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Safely operate mini buses in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  
• Transport passengers efficiently and on schedule, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring the bus is clean and in good working order.
  
• Maintain accurate records of passenger counts, route information, and any incidents or accidents.
  
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
  
• Provide excellent customer service, assisting passengers with boarding and deboarding, as well as addressing any questions or concerns.
  
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding route changes, delays, or any issues encountered during the route.
  
• Complete required training and attend regular safety meetings.
  

Requirements:

• 
  
• Minimum of a CDL B license with passenger endorsement.
  
• Ability to pass a federal government background check for clearance.
  
• Previous experience operating mini buses or similar vehicles.
  
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety.
  
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
  
• Ability to handle stress and remain calm in emergency situations.
  
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local traffic laws and regulations.
