We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our Regional Float Pool team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgical teams during operative procedures, arranging and inventorying sterile equipment and supplies.
- Pass instruments and equipment to surgeons and nurses as needed, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
- Prepare and move patients, sterilize and clean instruments, equipment, and rooms, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
As a member of our Regional Float Pool team, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including:
- A competitive hourly rate of $43.12, with opportunities for overtime and differentials.

To be considered for this role, you must have:
- 1 year of hospital surgical tech experience, with a strong understanding of sterile procedures and equipment.
- Basic computer skills, with the ability to navigate electronic medical records and other healthcare systems.
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with completion of an approved Surgical Technician program.
- Current registration with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) as a surgical technologist, and certification in Surgical Technology from the National Board Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Certification as a Tech in Surgery from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) through the American Heart Association.
