About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our team at Johnson County Community College. As an Instructional Designer, you will play a critical role in developing high-quality educational content that enhances student learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop instructional materials, including online courses, training programs, and educational resources.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to plan, build, and implement courses that meet learning objectives and outcomes.
  • Develop and produce accessible, engaging, and relevant learning materials that cater to diverse student needs.
  • Stay current with the latest learning strategies, instructional technologies, and research-based learning theories to inform design decisions.
  • Work under established standards, style guides, and processes to ensure consistency and quality.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of designing and developing high-quality educational content that enhances student learning experiences.
