About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Relationship Banker II at Savings Bank of Danbury. As a key member of our retail banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with our customers, and driving business growth through sales and account management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized service to customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities, cross-selling and upselling products and services to existing customers.
  • Process a wide variety of customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other miscellaneous transactions.
  • Work closely with branch management to achieve personal and branch goals, including customer satisfaction, account openings, deposit growth, loan origination, and referrals.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of banking customer service principles and processes.
  • Ability to use mathematics to accurately compute routine transactions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Strong computer and electronic skills, including proficiency in banking software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
