Job Summary

The Construction Project Manager position at Stuppy Inc is responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring timely completion, and managing budgets. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be able to work independently, and have experience with project scheduling and management applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and effective cost control.
  • Direct all field operations, report on project progress, and communicate with the Stuppy team and customers.
  • Control all phases of the project life cycle, including contract management, project planning, and scheduling.
  • Identify viable contractors, set performance standards, and manage contract terms and budgetary limitations.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on project progress, budget performance, and timelines.
  • Work closely with engineering, sales, and accounting teams on project scope, materials, and installation.
  • Manage interim billing activity and implement construction policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Track and maintain inventory use and levels relevant to projects under management.
  • Handle disputes and disagreements among interested parties and refer complex issues to senior leaders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, business, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Experience with project scheduling and management applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with associates, customers, and external parties.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong self-accountability and capability to remain focused on efficient execution.
Work Environment

The work environment for this position includes production and manufacturing, construction sites, and office environments. The employee will be required to sit, talk, and hear, as well as stand, walk, and use hands to perform work that includes moving objects up to 50 lbs.
