About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at University Manor Health Care Center. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to residents as assigned, in accordance with their care plans and under the supervision of your designated Supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe environment, promote emotional and social well-being, and attend to residents' physical needs and comfort.
  • Perform other duties as directed by representatives of the community, adhering to health, sanitary, and infection control policies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be currently registered as a certified Nursing Assistant in good standing or meet the requirements to work as one under applicable state laws.
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be at least 18 years old (or 16 if currently enrolled in high school).
  • Communicate effectively in English and follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Possess and demonstrate the ability to carry out verbal and written directions.
  • Exhibit good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, coworkers, and community staff.
  • Adhere to proper safety and sanitary techniques.
  • Be available to work scheduled hours based on position/assignment requirements.
Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in long-term care is preferred but not required.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • A salary range of $21.00 - $22.00 per hour.
  • Eligibility for benefits after 30 days, including medical, dental, vision, and 401K through Fidelity.
