Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse III to join our team at Houston Methodist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide professional direct patient nursing care to a diverse patient population and serve as an expert in a specialty.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct nursing assessments, assist with exams and treatment, and maintain medical records.
  • Assist in coaching and mentoring department staff in areas of clinical and professional practice.
  • Role model compassionate communication with physicians and the interprofessional healthcare team.
  • Assume leadership responsibilities with high-level contributions at the bedside, unit, service line, and across the institution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Two years of nursing experience in a healthcare environment, one year in the clinical field for which you will be working.
  • RN - Registered Nurse - Texas State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure within 60 days.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA).
  • Magnet - ANCC Recognized Certification.
