Job Summary:

As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare to our members. Your expertise will be essential in providing cost-effective care that meets the highest professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients with common acute and chronic illnesses and injuries.
  • Perform health maintenance services, including patient education, for well members.
  • Refer patients for specialty consultation or difficult problems.
  • Document all care in patients' permanent medical records in accordance with accepted medical and legal standards.
  • Provide medical care in accordance with accepted practice standards, hospital/clinic protocols, and state licensing guidelines.
  • Coordinate, develop, or organize patient or department services or programs.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an ANA-approved NP or AMA-approved PA training program or equivalent requirements to meet state licensure.
  • Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License (Washington) within 6 months of hire, and Nurse Practitioner National Certificate, Registered Nurse License (Washington), and Registered Nurse License (Oregon) within 6 months of hire.
  • OR Physician Assistant License (Oregon) within 6 months of hire, and Physician Assistant National Certificate, and Physician Assistant License (Washington) within 6 months of hire.
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire.
  • Drug Enforcement Administration Registration.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two (2) years of clinical experience.

This role will float to Keizer Station Medical Office, North Lancaster Medical Office, Skyline Medical Office, and West Salem Medical Office.
