About the Role

As a Home Visitor, you will work with pregnant women and families to provide them with the necessary resources and skills to raise healthy, happy children. Your goal will be to improve maternal and child health, prevent child abuse and neglect, and promote positive parenting and child development.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with families to assess their strengths and needs
• Connect families to community resources
• Participate in ongoing recruitment outreach activities and events
• Accurately document services provided in a state-wide database
• Regularly attend professional development trainings and meetings

Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience working with or providing direct service to children and families
• Acceptance of individual differences
• Cultural Humility
• Knowledge of Infant and Child Development
• Reflective Capacity
• Infant Mental Health Endorsement, Preferred
