About the Role:
Sustainable Partners Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Operations and Maintenance Technician to join our team at our RNG Facility in California. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facility, while also driving continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a Safety-Centric Culture: Foster a culture of safety and compliance within the team, ensuring that all operations are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Compliance and Regulatory Management: Ensure that all operations are in compliance with DOT requirements and manuals, and that all necessary permits and licenses are maintained.
- Reliability and Maintenance: Develop and implement proactive equipment maintenance plans, and coordinate and perform maintenance activities to ensure optimal facility performance.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team focused on plant reliability and safety, and collaborate with other departments to achieve production goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for cost reductions and process improvements, and implement changes to enhance facility reliability and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
- Experience: 5 years of direct experience in operation and maintenance in an industrial setting, with a minimum of 2 years in Renewable Natural Gas or Natural Gas Pipeline Operations and Maintenance.
- Skills: Formal technical training, applicable military and merchant marine experience, and a working knowledge of reading and interpreting system drawings and/or P&IDs.
