Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at American Family Care Downingtown.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting radiologic procedures, operating x-ray equipment, and providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

• Imaging Procedures: Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' body parts.
• Patient Care: Explain procedures, address patient concerns, and position patients safely and comfortably.
• Documentation: Record and communicate patient information using computerized documentation systems.
• Radiation Safety: Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff.

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Certification: ARRT Certification is required.
• Licensure: Current Pennsylvania license or permit to practice medical imaging.
• Skill Set: Excellent patient care skills, good customer service skills, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Physical Demands: Ability to perform tasks that require frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.

• Competitive Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
