Transactional Real Estate Attorney Job Title

Job Location: Los Angeles

Requirements:

  • 2 years or more real estate attorney experience

Duties & Experience:

We are seeking a highly skilled Transactional Real Estate Attorney to join our team at JBA International. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in Commercial Real Estate, with a strong background in construction knowledge and California bar admission.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing construction and design contracts
  • Drafting leases, purchase and sale agreements, letters of intent, deeds, titles, and escrow-related matters
  • Coordinating and directing the review, management, and preparation of commercial leasing and acquisition documentation
  • Reviewing Purchase and Sale Agreements, due diligence, monitoring contingencies, reviewing and preparing title objections, survey and environmental reviews, closing documents, and wire transfers
  • Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing all aspects of real estate finance
  • Advising on mechanic's lien issues and 1031 exchanges
  • Negotiating leases and amendments
  • Drafting and reviewing complex operating agreements and bylaws, shareholders agreements, master service and service level agreements, private placement memorandums, indemnity agreements, and other client contracts
  • Drafting correspondence on behalf of landlords to commercial tenants management and counsel relating to claims, defenses, and other disputes arising under lease agreements
  • Effectively organizing and maintaining case and client files
