Our client, a family-owned enterprise with a rich history spanning over 50 years, is in search of a skilled Heavy Civil Senior Estimator to enhance their vibrant team. This position is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about the construction field and possess strong analytical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate company data, exchange rates, and pricing structures using specialized software.
  • Work alongside project teams to formulate precise cost estimates for heavy civil construction initiatives.
  • Examine project plans, specifications, and contractual documents to ascertain project scope and requirements.
  • Perform thorough quantity takeoffs and cost assessments for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Compile detailed bid proposals and ensure submission within designated timelines.

Essential Functions:

  • Leverage industry expertise to pinpoint cost-saving strategies while maintaining project quality.
  • Stay informed about current trends in the construction market, including materials and labor costs.
  • Assess subcontractor and supplier bids for accuracy and competitiveness.
