We are seeking a qualified Pulmonology Specialist to provide exceptional medical care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

- Call Schedule: 1 in 2
- Support Staff: Collaborate with a dedicated team including hospitalists, lab, and radiology professionals
- EMR System: Cerner
Location: A facility situated in a designated Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) and/or Medically Underserved Area/Population (MUA/P).

Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Evaluating and treating patients using advanced diagnostic and treatment skills.
- Coordinating discharge planning with case management teams.
- Participating in efforts to enhance cost-effectiveness and quality of care.
- Accepting referrals from other healthcare providers and serving as the attending physician for hospitalized patients.
- Engaging in academic programs including medical education and research as needed.
- Providing thorough documentation to meet insurance requirements and managing appeals for denials.
- Participating in both inpatient and outpatient consultations, including on-call duties.
