IDR Healthcare is seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Coordinator to administer credentialing and re-credentialing activities within the team, ensuring all providers meet necessary requirements for participation.

This role is pivotal in maintaining standard turnaround times while monitoring the provider network for credentialing/recredentialing deficiencies and taking necessary action per the policies and procedures.

Position Overview

As a Credentialing Coordinator, you will support the overall provider credentialing and recredentialing processes by preparing and executing outbound communications related to the credentialing events, as well as supporting credentialing audits by preparing files for presentation to external clients.

Responsibilities
  • Support the overall provider credentialing and recredentialing processes while maintaining standard turnaround times.
  • Monitor the participating provider network for credentialing/recredentialing deficiencies and take necessary action per the policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and execute outbound communications related to the credentialing events.
  • Support credentialing audits by preparing files for presentation to external clients.
  • Prepare reports on the status of credentialing activities.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • 23 years of business experience with healthcare provider credentialing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Access)
  • Excellent communication skills (written/verbal)
  • Ability to work well independently, under pressure, and multitask
  • Experience with operating systems such as EDW/Business Objects is preferred
