Facilities Janitor

**Job Summary**

Staff On Site United, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Janitor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• **Cleaning and Sanitation:** Clean and supply designated building areas, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, trash collection, cleaning ceiling vents, and restroom cleaning.
• **Maintenance and Repair:** Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities, carry out heavy cleansing tasks, and special projects.
• **Supply Management:** Stock and maintain supply rooms, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for tasks.
• **Communication and Teamwork:** Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs, cooperate with the rest of the staff, and follow all health and safety regulations.
• **Additional Duties:** Light laundering of towels and wash cloths, cleaning restrooms and showering facilities.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in janitorial or maintenance work preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
