Key responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams to execute critical enhancements or net new robotic product designs from concept to production, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring that team members have the necessary skills and training to perform their roles with technical excellence.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of current safety and regulatory standards for medical devices, experience working with global hardware teams, and proficiency in tools such as Altium PCB development environment and LabView/LabWindows CVI software. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required, along with 8 years of applicable experience.
In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will be able to decompose complex system requirements into sound architectural design and straightforward electrical specifications, provide electrical solutions for changes to existing products, and create technical documentation to support electrical aspects of systems being developed.
