Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Medical Imaging Tech to join our team at Bay Area Hospital. As a key member of our Imaging Department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of medical imaging exams for patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply principles, theories, and techniques of pertinent modality to provide reliable test results.
  • Provide daily leadership of patient and department workflow.
  • Demonstrate the ability to use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the position.
  • Exhibit the ability to deal effectively interdepartmentally and with the public.
  • Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance at the assigned job location.
Requirements
  • Graduate of Accredited Radiology Technology program.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist's certification (in relevant modality).
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Image Wisely pledge certificate or must obtain within 30 days of hire date and annually by January 30 thereafter.
  • Image Gently pledge certificate or must obtain within 30 days of hire date and annually by January 30 thereafter.
  • One year previous experience in hospital setting.
Working Conditions

Able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently. Possess physical agility and adequate reaction time to respond quickly and appropriately to unexpected patient care needs.
